Its Christmas

Well here I sit at a quarter to twelve, wondering what it must be like to live like an elve.
All of the sudden out of the night, A very loud bell, rings with a fright.
I jump to my feet and head to the truck, Man I hope it's not a real fire, that would really suck.
We blare down the road with sirens and bells, hoping somebody's christmas just didn't go to hell.
We arrive on scene and see a bright light, man I hope this family got out alright.
With axe in hand, wearing my jacket. Open up the door, man what a racket.
But to my surprise there is no fire, just a mom and dad ready to sleep from tire.
I say to them nicely" Is everything fine?", they reply "No, we'll never get the presents wrapped in time."
The boys and me sit down to help, the parents let out a happy little yelp.
We wrap and tape until early morning light, man oh man weve been here all night.
We jump in the truck and make for the station, man I forgot to get their information.
We put the truck in the bay and to our surprise, food and presents on the table so carefully layed.
A short little note written in red, get a bite to eat and go to bed.
We stared in amazement at all the stuff we had, with all these presents the children should be glad.
We loaded up the truck and headed out into the streets, giving presents to all the kids we meet.
When the toys ran out we gave a little shout.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!

It's christmas eve and Im on duty, got bored and started typing. To everyone who reads this give a little thought, to the men and women in uniform who protect us all this very night. From the military to the police and the fireman of course, especially the ones who wont be home to share this special day with loved ones. Wishing all of BASSFISHIN members a safe and merry christmas and a very prosperous new year.
