I was watching the television last week when I was away and saw the big fire they had down there in Texas, were you any where's near there? I heard it might of started from a lightenig strike? If you have a good article about it clip it on to this tread. It's been a real bad year for natural disasters, I hope we get a break from it in 2006. But with the way the world is being screw'd up I doubt it.

yeah i hear the big one is near dallas/fort worth -bfg's stomping grounds- ok i know the gulf coast will love this one. another named strom in the ocean -oh joy- cane season is SUPOSED to end in november..some body better tell mother nature she's runnin late.. personly i just can't wait till el nino shows back up..

Nope, nowhere near me, but we have not had any good rain in over a year, so it is real dry. There is a statewide burn ban in effect. I've been trying to talk Zooker into sending us some rain-he's trying to send us some. Appreciate the concern, though!

I was just standing in my kitchen gettin somethin to eat and lightning struck something right in my backyard. Immediately after that i heard the loudest thunder ive ever heard. It shook the whole house, sounded (and felt) like someone drove a truck through my house.
