Default be afraid,be very afraid

i fished a local tourney last nite.started at 10 p.m.there were only 9 boats and 10 anglers.started raining a little with some thunder and lightening off in the distance.to make a long story short, the storm came up very fast.5 of us got hit by lightening, fortunately it was not a direct hit.2 guys got knocked out and 3 of us(myself included)got zapped through our trolling motor pedals and rods.i saw a huge spark on my rod and it got knocked out of my hand as i got thrown back into my pedestal seat.my left arm and leg are still buzzing.
luckily no one got killed or hurt bad.this is the LAST TIME i will ever fish when i can see any little bit of lightening.a lesson learned.don't try to be a smart a** like we were.
