The only actual evidence would be if Kevin got you the IP. That would prove that I am innocent, and that some other person did it. I don't know what other evidence there is.

Ok guys Ive been thinking alot about this situation. I really think that I myself blew this out of perportion. I really dont know if it was Island fly. I dont really think it was Island fly. I really dont want to believe it was Island Fly. I was very upset about the whole situation but at the same time dont know who or really why I was upset! I felt very disrespected but wasnt sure at whom to be mad at.
I really would like to believe that it wasnt Island. After all I have seen about how he catches the fish I would certainly think that he does have respect for himself and others. I do not know him personally nor have I have I ever spoken to him. I would like to think it wasnt him when all is said and done. Once again i do not know for sure. "IF" it was him I do think he does have alot of growing up to do in life and to help this great sport of ours progess! With all that said....I do not think we should DQ him as I stated earlier. I think I made a big mistake thinking that we should. This is America were we are supposed to believe Innocent till proven Guilty. Not the other way around. I was upset during this time and thought with emotions rather than logic. For that Island And fellow fisherman I do apologize!! I would still like to donate my box of goodies as well. I dont think its fair the other participants whom have worked hard to win this tourney. I dont think everyone should be punished just because someone made me mad. I think there are alot of quality guys here who deserve to win. I also think that there are guys here who DESERVE to win! I hope that Chris reconsiders his desicion. |

In a scouting mission today, I fished for an hour at various spots. I checked out spots that I plan to fish tomorrow by boat.
I caught 8 fish. 2 peacocks on fly 3 peacock on spin 1 largemouth on fly 2 largemouth on spin Here was my biggest of the day. Edit- Forgot to say that it is the same fish in both pictures. Last edited by islandflyfisher; 12-26-06 at 11:48 PM. |

Thanks. Hopefully I can get some sleep and get some more fish during the cold front down here. Sometimes those cold fronts can almost completely shut the fish off, especially the peacocks.

I planned to go out on my little boat today. It is powered by a 41 lb thust trolling motor. I figured I would bring my friend's battery as a backup. Long story short... my friend's battery is bad, and I thought it fried my trolling motor. It turns out it didn't, but it messed up my fishing plans. Instead, I went to BassPro and picked up a new bass reel- Daiwa Whisker 1300. They are the best light tackle spinning reel on the market if you ask me.
I did do some fishing. I had a bass strike a senko on the surface, and run me in on a sprinkler pipe. I did get a bluegill on bread, and to be honest, I felt ridiculous taking a picture of it, and measuring it. I was surprised at the length, considering a mangrove snapper the same length is three times the weight. I propose that for the slam, we do largemouth, bluegill, and any other panfish species. I would be fine with the two bluegill and a largemouth too. There are no Crappie down here, so it would give us a chance. Tight Lines Everyone! |

I just want to let yall know, I went to Rodman today, was the first boat on the water in the O.S. area. I caught 2 fish, one I'm pretty dang confident will end up being big fish of this tourney. Once I get the pics uploaded I'll post them.
