3 backyard largemouths today
They were all small. A cold front came through, so fishing was a little tougher than usual. |

5 largemouths on senkos today.
3 came in the canal in my backyard (1 working the worm on the surface), and the est came in a connected canal. I had a 3 pounder looking at my senko. I thought he ate it. I set the hook and got a 1 pounder. I saw the same fish after that, but it wouldn't hit. Thebassmaster123 got the biggest fish of the day again. |

Sorry!
I'm afraid I've already moved into second. The leader board just hasn't been updated. Let's both pass Capt. Jim!

I was supposed to fish Okeechobee tommorrow with a guide. It is an annual thing that my cousin and I do. My uncle just called, and my cousin is sick. We probably aren't going. Last year, We each got a 7.5 pounder, and my cousin also got a 5 pounder. I would've had a shot at the leaderboard. I am fishing today though. So watch out . LOL

43 again today!
5 peacocks on shad rap 38 largemouth on shad raps and senkos I had to leave when I had 40. I got home, went in the canal behind my house and caught 3 more to tie my personal best, which was 6 days ago. My biggest weighed fish of the day was a 2 pound 5 ounce largemouth. I caught a peacock that was probably bigger, but let go without weight and picture (because I was preoccupied with a guy that kept about a 2.5 pound peacock to eat .) The bassmaster123 and I got 70 fish between us today! He got the biggest at 2 3/4 pounds. I lost a 3-4 pounder, and slipped in about a second after he spat. (I must have looked really stupid again.) Justin got a bunch of nice fish today! He was fishing a fatter crankbait that they seemed to like. He will put his pictures up tommorrow. My first nice one of the day at 2 pounds 5 ounces. I finally remembered to get length and girth of a fish. A nice fish at 2 pounds 2 ounces. The second nicest peacock of the day. Another nice bass before we left at 2 pounds 3 ounces. Good luck in the last few days of the tourney everyone! Tight Lines! |

Glad I didn't bet Jim!
Got out one one of the lakes Saturday with 4 of my friends. We chipped in for a big bass pot, and when we saw Capt Jim on the lake, thought his crew might want to join in. But we didn't get close enough to ask him about it before we heard the yahoo's from his boat! We nixed that idea when we heard he had a 10 pounder!
Scotty and I tied with 22 1/2 inch bass, although his was considerably heavier. He caught his on an 8" green/yellow dolphin rattling-type lure (yes a large offshore saltwater bait!) The first pic is James' biggest - 4 lbs, (notice Capt Jim's boat in the background) then my skinny 22.5 inch fish, (I let him keep the shiner to fatten him up a bit). Several others between 3.5 and 4.
