Yup, the whiz bang is by far, the best bass lure ever created. Followed closely by a zook-n-stein(so I've heard)and then, probably a zoom trick worm.

I am not going to mention the word of the lure your asking about, but to learn it you need the decoder ring to know where it works best.I got in trouble last time I mentioned it.I suspect Lizards got instant messaged as well by now. Another post you mentioned topwater. The super spook Jr is by far the best consistant topwater bait I have ever used. You only need 2 colors a Chrome belly and a white belly.chrome for the sunny days and white for the cloudy overcast days. The Pig n jig is my favorite lure,it flat out catches alot of fish when they are feeding on the bottom. When they aren't look to fish the water colum with senkos, cranks, spinnerbaits.I have caught alot on the Wave worm brand Bamboo sticks. Thanks to a ILL Bassin sending them to me a few years ago. They still aren't sold in my area, but you can order online to get them easily enough.P N J

I'd be happy to let you in on the Whizbang phenomenon but I can't find them anymore. You might check ebay. And the last I heard Zooker had a few of the older ones but I doubt he'd part with them.
As for now I'd say use a trusty old plastic worm |

If you haven't tried Yum Watermelon/ Red Flk Lizard man r u missin out. The first time I used it 13 bass all 2lb-5lb, two days later landed the two on the pic 5.6 lbs and 6.8 lbs. Try using the 3 flippin techniques and you should be bringin in bass.

Big Redneck, You really don't want to track down a Whiz Bang lure.I personally wish I had never seen one.I have quit drinking. I went through years of trouble with the law, I finally admitted that I was a alcoholic and needed to have help to quit. I even quit smoking after I quit drinking, but I'll be damned if I will go without a Whiz Bang lure in my tackle pack ever again.I never go fishing without it, but very seldom will I tie it on to fish with, for fear of losing it.Its a rare item, but once you have experienced the fish catching ability, you will always need one in your tacklebox as long as you fish.P N J

Heck no. The whizbang is chrome plated metal. I don't even know the alloy. prolly titanium something. I've said to much.

i was fishin with a jointed jitter bug one time with 25 lb line in a "spotted dog" color and a fish hit it come out the water went back down broke the line and was gone be4 could set the hook he then jumped outta water and spit the bait out and it landed at the edge of the water 2 foot away from me
swear to god it happend just like that adn i was standin there jaw on the ground i got 2 good looks at him when he jumped and thats the biggest bass i ever did think about seening he still in my pond ive seen him in the shallows once or twice but never get him to bite nothing he is definitly a hoss his name is catfish hunter and this will be the 3rd year im after him and imma get him this year PS keep the wiz bang down on the low low or youll have men in black on your door step

Soft jerks with red hooks are responsible for many of my best days and largest fish.
