just an update, the starter couldnt be fixed. i have a new one ordered, should b here by wednesday. gonna take it out next weekend and put some hours on it.

Should it not pan out no worries,you will be staying within 3 miles of me.I could take you out 1/2 day one day and a full one the next,not running anywhere but flippin.Small 17 1/2ft boat but for that be ok.Same thing if ya bring it an it dont want to co-operate.
While not quite the same as running your own still could have a decent time. New to you boats always need a lil tlc and a wringout. Twas nasty and windy today soon as I came back in an got the camera the wind died. |

had the boat out sunday and tonight.. workin great, runnin a little rich but nothin i cant take care of. takin it out tomorrow night too. ready to start bringin in some bass

Monday water temp 55.09F,Tuesday 55.98F and 80 F air temp,today 81F air temp.
If that is an older omc they tend to run a lil rich,they all do so,and meant to,long periods at idle or slow speed soot them up,or carbon them up,merely treat chemically in the gas. Leaning them out is not an answer. |

if it idles it loads up then i have to rev it to clear it out b4 i can move.. lots of smoke, its way rich

ok turns out its a little oil rich and a a little gas lean.. i richened the air fuel screws 1/2 a turn and it ran like a dream tonight. water was 65 here.. catchin anything good down there?
