Uni knot for everything except d/s though I've seen a video suggesting it be used also for d/s.

Palomar for terminal knots.
Uni to uni for line to leader, though I am TRYING to get better at the Albright...it just doesn't seem natural yet.

We have been tying Uni to Uni for years and it just works. We also started with braid in fluor in the saltwater before it took off for bass fishing and for me it proved itself in that environment. It must be done correctly to work, I disagree with those who say it does not work etc, used right it will never fail.

Former (second) Bassmaster Bobby Murray once said at a seminar, "if you're not tying the palomar, you're tying the wrong knot."
I never tie anything else. |

Depends if I can get the line through the hook eye twice Palomar if not impoved clinch. Sometimes I run the line through the hook eye twice for the improved clinch. Depends on line too.

Since I am a braid only person I use the palomer for hooks and the surgeons loop for plugs.
On fly leaders nuttin but surgeons loops. On the surf I use uni knots , slim beauty , and palomers all on the same line. Capt Mike

Palomar for braid
Eugene knot for mono/fluoro Uni-to-uni for joining lines. When respooling I just use a double overhand knot. No bass will spool you and if I get to where i can feel the knot it is time to respool.

I use #40 braid tied with a square knot on top of a Palomar knot tied directly to the hook, Rat-L-Trap, or spinner bait. I have never ever had a knot come loose. Largest bass was a 9.5 lber.
