Line visibility was never a problem for braids in '70's and '80's. You could choose either black for nylon or green for dacron. Both worked well.

Sure did bassfisher. Not the small diameter "kite string" variety of today, but it was no-strech line none the less. It was good stuff that wrapped well on the spool and worked well.

Lizards, how's it go'n?
Funny that many don't remember the braid used for ice fishing for over 30 years, and, of course, the ancient lead core line used with downriggers for deep presentations. |
