It wasn't actually my fault. I was at a Blockbuster video, and my friend was looking at some of the videos on the lowest shelf, right next to me. At some point, I got tired of waiting for the slow ba$tard, and decided to smack him with the magazine. I said something like "let's get out of here".

To my horror, he stood up...but it wasn't him.

It was a guy about the same height, wearing the same color t-shirt and baseball cap. Out of the corner of my eye, it had looked exactly like my friend. Seriously, what kind of stranger comes up and kneels down right next to you, without making a sound or an "excuse me"?

I looked over and saw my friend checking out. He had seen the whole thing and was laughing his arse off. I guess he hadn't been so slow to decide on his movies as I thought. LOL

Sometimes it's good to be huge.
Believe me when I tell you that I know just about how you were feeling. I'm almost sure I could have taken that older gal, and thought for a few minutes there that I might have to prove it.

I was feeling particularly full of myself that night and walked over and placed my hand on her butt, expecting her to turn around and greet me. The woman whose butt I had my hand on took particular offense to my hand placement.
I'm glad yall enjoyed. I could have gone into a long explanation of the horror of walking out to the truck looking like a bow-legged cowboy or even worse....the damage to my reputation. I had hoped she would have been discreet and simply kept her mouth shut (after all she had a crush on me) ........but no! Word spread like wild fire. I'd be walking through the store and whenever coworkers saw me well...............

@AU your story reminded me of a similar but not really little story. Some years back I'm explaining all the features and benefits of a Honda ST13 to a young man from Charlotte. Nice guy, about my age, successful but not pretentious, we'd been standing there talking about 15-20 minutes and had developed some rapport when a drop dead gorgeous Asian cutie pie in hot pants and a halter top pulls up in and gets out of a new 7 series BMW. So I nudge the guy and whisper real loud.....AHH SOOO (in my best oriental accent). The cupcake honey walks in walks straight up to dude and says "sorry I'm late babe Where's the bike you wanted to show me" I thought I might have offended him but he was cool about it, realized I was paying his wife (and him) a compliment, bought the bike and we all had a good laugh about it.

Don't always work out that way though. Some weeks later I walk out and introduce myself to a women and child looking at youth atv's. I figure she's about mid 50 ish and the little girls looks maybe 6. "Hello mam! Looking to get your grand-daughter a 4-wheeler? I knew the second those words left my lips that...........you guessed it..daughter No sale that day.
