PNJ- The abu is definitely a well made reel. There's something to be said for european construction instead of made in china crap.... You get a lot of bearings, and a strong frame. I'll have to check out the Revo's, I have a torno right now that I love....

I felt it was appropriate to use it, kind of threw it up there for Va.Bass. FlBassman, I have 3 Tornos left.I like them. In 1997 Abu Garcia came out with a Tournament series ,Larry Nixon signatured, I bought 8 rods at $109.00 for the regular rods & $128.00 for the flipping stick.I also bought 12 Tournament pro 3000 reels , which were made exactly like the 3004 Torno reels I have.In 1999, I sold the TP3000's to a guy in Pa.He is still fishing with them today.Back then the TP 3000 reels retailed for $159.99 each.I got a better price by buying a dozen of them, wished I would have kept them, won't make the same mistake with the Tornos I have.I bought the tornos new in the box for a average of $40.00 each off from Ebay.I had to bid on alot of them until I got the 3 I got, but they were well worth the effort.
