Way to Go Joe!! What'd you catch it on? Did it pull the Yak around? As an interesting/amusing aside in the third pic if you look closely you can spot a 4-leaf clover growing in the grass

Thanks Ken! Got it on a 1/4oz. black and blue Nujig with a Rage Chunk trailer in 'okeechobee craw' color. I've learned to start peddling as soon as I get a bite because even a crank bait retrieve pulls the Yak. In the 'want to share a story' thread explains the day a little better. Ken I admire how you can spot a clover in that pic.

				 | Let's make it official You can see the Space Monkey I used earlier. Thats after like a dozen plus fish....and was still in fair shape. The nose was messed up though by then. Oh, that's a NuJig in it's mouth...thank you Bo and Chane!!!!!! And why I take multiple Pics. I swear, in this photo the fish was 7.1! Look close and you can see the 1 at the right side of scale Got 7.1 THREE TIMES but when I finally got camera out for another pic, the best I could get was.... I even checked the floor of the kayak to see if I could see if it CRAPPED 5ozs. So, 109 divided by 179 equals.......... .6089385 61 percent of record. That's official according to Wi. MATH! 7.1 would have been 113 divided by 179 = .6312849....still 3rd place so no biggie.

I'm still here and still fishing, just nothing worth submitting. I've had a couple close ones, mainly some nice smallmouths but no upgrades. I did get one very noteworthy fish on a 6 3/4" River 2 Sea S Waver swimbait out of a pond the other day though I was more than a little surprised when she came out of no where and slammed a swimbait :O |
