yeah lizards, we were torn between a single or a dual console. we decided on the single mainly because you have a little more room and it's one less thing to get in the way if a fish makes a run to the back of the boat. believe it or not she said she would rather have a single console.

I elected to go with that motor on my new 06 Ranger (VS175), it's probably the most impressive motor I have ever owned. I like the no-muss no-fuss, turn the key and go feature of it. I can do about 45 tops in the Ranger, how about you?

Finally pulled the trigger on my 'new' boat this weekend. Keeping it in my garage for right now until I can get a spot at our local boat storage. 1995 Champion 186 w/ 150 HP Mariner EFI. 50 lb. 12/24 volt Motorguide Brute trolling motor which will probably be upgraded soon.

I did this morning before I left for work I have to keep the giddyness to a minimum or my wife starts yelling at me. Yesterday afternoon was spent cleaning the inside, outside, top and bottom...every inch of that boat got wiped down or swept out. The only bad part is I have to wait a coupla months to get it on the water

Great Looking Boat!! I'm glad you got the Champion! I have a Ranger buddy checking the ramps nightly trying to find me some soft water so I can set mine in the first time and at least fire it up some and check the livewell controls. |

as much as I would love to get a bass boat, since I mostly fish the smaller ponds and only have small lakes close by (and the lack of cash flow right now), this is pretty much what I have been looking for lately:

Ain't nothing wrong to own a kayak, screwball. The one in green is real popular where I'm at. All over! I never try it but from what I've read its a blast to fish out of it. PM me if you want, I know of one forum that has crazed kayka fishers on there if your interested.
