July 12th Report
The evening started a bit late due to traffic delays and Alex had a meeting to attend. It was hot and I replaced the bunks on my trailer while I waited. Earlier that morning I crawled in my attic and replaced a fan that stopped working. So I was about a quart low on fluids by the time he arrived. Powered down some water and gatoraid to get me back on track. The creek was muddy from the big rain event. So we looked for clean water and found it way back in the pads but by then the tide was almost out. A few follows and one missed hit for the first several hours. Needed to do something different. Pulled out the poppers and hit some way back waters. Started picking up LGMouth and by the time it was dark we had about a dozen landed. Thanks Alex for letting me fish.
