Looking at a new 150 Merc
Talked to my Tracker dealer here,and they gave me these prices for a New Merc 150 Optimax and a 4 stroke. I'm sure I talk them down, but I'm wondering what you guys think? (most part of why I looking at new motors are for the better gas milage, my 03 Merc 150 XR6 LOVES the gas. Anyone know what might be the differents?) BTW, I have a 02 Tracker Avalanche, it's 18.2' w/96" beam.
Merc 150 Optimax 11,365. Merc 150 4-stroke 11,800. Which way would you folks go (if) it were you and why. Please no fussing, WE all have our own reasons for what we like, and it's up to me to decide which way I go. BTW, my heart is not set on a Merc either. Just starting to look at other options, but no prices nor info yet on anything else. Thanks in advance for your insight. Harold |
