St Croix Mojo Casting, I don't have any Mojos, but everyone seems to really like them.
MBC70HF Slop-N-Frog 7' H Fast 1 14 - 25 3/8 - 11/2 5.3 3 $ 110 Primiers will work. PC66HF 6'6" H Fast 1 12 - 25 1/2 - 1 1/2 5.2 3 $ 130 These are list prices, can probably find cheaper but St. Croix isn't usually into discounting thier rods. Bait shop owner once told me St Croix actually desiginates the prices that can be charged eliminating rod discounting. Croix's theory is to assure the pricing is the same across the board.

There's plenty of rods out there that would fit your needs.
Tacklewarehouse is a great place to start. At least at narrowing down your choices. Click on Casting Rods. Next page, click on Advanced Search. Enter your length and power and voila! The Shimano Compre is sitting there for $109.99. Also, I wouldn't pigeonhole myself into one exact length. That will limit your choices. I'm planning on upgrading to a full time Frog Rod myself this season and I'm considering lengths of 7'-7'6. I'd possibly go a little shorter even, if the right deal came along

TW actually had a 7'3 Heavy/Fast Daiwa VIP casting rod marked down from $125 to $50.
That model is sold out now though.

Last year I purchased the Vendetta in 7'3# H/XF and I couldn't be happier. And at less than 100.00 it was a great value. It casts more like a fast than an extra fast to me. It's strong, cast very nice, fairly light and comfortable to hold. I'm talking my brother into buying the same rod for his frogging.

Shimano makes some decent rods. I've got a Crucial I've been very happy with. On top of that, they upgrades all their blanks this year, so the Compre should be a great rod for the price.

My son & I have been using the Veritas rod in the longest casting length 7'6" or 7'9" can't remember which.... I was impressed when he dragged a 7.+ bass outta the pads with it. I also use it for a secondary jig rod and I lob the alabama rig on it as well...
That being said Shimano Crucials are awesome rods for the $$$

I recommend the Vendetta 7’3” H. It's just beasty but not weighty or heavy in the hand. I think the Vendettas are hands down the best rod series for the money, but they'll hold their own against any rod. I’ve talked some of my friends who were carrot Stix and St. Croix mojo bass users into this rod. I keep looking at the Skeet Reese and Carrot Stix really just to try another brand to make sure I’m not missing out. But I keep coming back to the Vendettas.

Wally check out ebay for Kistler rods. There are some good prices at about what you want to pay. I just put in a bid for some. There are some under $100 at the buy now option and some under $150. I love my Kistlers. I use a 7 ft. mh LTA for throwing Horny Toad type baits. I use it in the pads and haven't broke it.

Mnster Tackle has 10% off right now. Dobyns has a 7'3" Heavy action rod for a few dollars more, like $ 169 but free shipping. Suggested use os frogs among other baits.
