simple green or purple power works great also bass boat saver -though it's higher priced- does work well..

i also recomend any carnuba wax -to make it shine-protech being what i use..

What works best for hard water spots on the glass and on the motor cowl?
BBS doesn't touch them and I tried vinegar/water that did O.K. at best.

any carnuba wax will work. DO NOT use any wax that says "cleaner" wax this stuff will eat into the gel coat..

bender

yeah those are a pain in the but. i find windex glass and surface cleaner to be good.. other than wiping the ENTIRE boat down every time i pull it out of the lake..

i wipe down and wax moter cowl the same as i do the boat..

My 87 Skeeter does not have a gel coat, its painted fiberglass. they did not use gel coat on these. any suggestions?

This is after a simple car wax, i like it to be better. of course i have a new motorguide trolling motor on it now, that old one is gone. still runs but could not guide it, maybe i will mount it to the motor for a rear trolling motor.. lol

no problem on glass the best thing i have found is pro tech carnuba wax. you MUST use a power buffer with it.. btw the micro fiber bonnet on the power buffer is the sh!t..

i use the 10" random orbital power buffer..

remember the tires too.. whats a shiny boat with filthy tires look like??.. nuff said right..

rubber cleaning tips
use full stenth purple power. spray on, used scrub brush on it,hose off. ok now for the inportant part use a bottle of "belech-white" tire cleaner use scrub brush again and hose off -warning this stuff is an acid and will eat a hole in your hide- next i use extreme tire shine by armor all.. the stuff works great..

before

after
