Knowing Bass: The Scientific Approach to Catching More Fish
I'm looking to buy this book.
But... 1. when searching I was amazed at the price. I've seen them go for like $17 all the way up to like $100. And this is the paperback edition, not the hard cover. Plus the $17 was used. Hard cover...like a $150 2. Who's read it? And is it any good? 3. Is it 'out of print'? 4. Anyone want to sell their copy. If so how much? Please base your price on selling it to ME, not the prices I quoted. Ebayers even want big money. If someone knows where to get one other than Amazon, please let me know. When doing a search, it's listed but when you go to buy...everyone seems to be out of them. So anglers, is this thing worth the money folks seem to think it is?

This is not the only book that shows up with crazy high prices that make no sense.
I have the book and have learned some things from it, although I haven't read every word. He goes into more detail about the biology than I have the patience for, but it's still a good addition to a fishing library, even though Mac's willing to part with his copy.

There are three paperback copies of "Knowing Bass" at a little book store across the street from my business... $16.95 a piece. (712)336-5672 Tell Jill that strange bass fisherman across the street leaked her name!

If it's the one by Keith Jones, okoboji is spot on about it being a good read and a reasonable price. Any more than that would be highway robbery, lol.
