Shakey head...heads.
OK, seems like none of the pros use carolina rigs anymore. Everybody uses a shaky head for their finesse worms. What kind of jig heads do you guys recommend for shaky head fishing?
God Bless.

I just use hand poured 1/8th ounce jig heads, no trills but they work

i like this jig head from spot remover. the flat part will sit on the bottom raising your worm straight up in the water. and the spring will keep your wom on the head while letting you rig it weedless.

I really like these. The 60degree line tie works best for me. They've also got a 4/0 (vice the 3/0 I usually use) and it really works nice for baits larger than 4".

hookerz makes the best shakey head jigs.the wire moves out to the side so it's easy to screw on a bait.then it's easy to line it up straight so that when it sinks it doesn't spiral as it goes down causing line twist.the hook is probably the sharpest you'll ever see.the owner jason cuda is also a great guy who wants to keep customers happy.

They are not on BPS online, but the store might have them. I have some spots where if I could get the worm to float straight up off the bottom, I could do very well.

Hi, yes, I've got two styles.
As far as the c-rig, I've always thought of that as a warm-water technique, and have always used larger baits, lizards, brush hogs, etc. I did used to have a Tx partner that would start and end his day tossing a c-rigged watermelon red flake fluke, no matter the weather! |

yeah sorry it took so long island to get back to ya but they are on bass pros web site. there are a lot of different styles and some good ones were posted on here already but i really prefer the heads that stand the worm up.
