I have a suction mount for my GoPro and I've never had a problem knock on wood. You have to make sure the spot you are sticking it on is clean and pretty flat. I've filmed some pretty rough boat rides with it and it hasn't budged. In fact I was pretty worried about it so the first time I used it I grabbed it and shook it as hard as I could to make sure it was going to hold. I shook my 21' bass boat like a rag doll but the mount stayed in place.
