Not a bass
But it will do.
It was 52-55lbs on three different scales. Capt Mike

I got one bass and one white perch all day Saturday. I had one guy want to see it because he said he hadn't got any and wanted to remember what a bass looked like.

Any thing over 8 lbs has so much mercury in it you could tell the temp in five counties after eating one from your front porch.
I release all the big ones. Capt Mike

Couple more trips to the buffet and that cat would have been that record you've been looking for all these years!!!

What I do think is I will bust the 70lb record this year.
But with the on and off weather this spring maybe it will have to wait till fall. I had one 62lb last year that looked like this. Capt Mike

I'm pretty sure I'd cut the line and run like hell if anything like that came up on my line... 'less I had the capt. there to hold my hand...

Yea, that second pic is a great fish mike, you can tell he is more mature that the most recent one, that tail is really filled out. Get that one again this year and he may just be the one, depending on the growth rate of the bigguns there.
