Basstender Wiring Help
Maybe I'm reading this all wrong, maybe someone can help me out.
I just picked up a used basstender. None of the lights work. If you take a look at the attached wiring schematic it looks like they might be wired wrong? I know it sounds stupid but it doesn't look like any of the (3) lights will ever be connected to the positive on the battery in any of the (3) navigation switch settings. When the switch is down, the bow lights are "on", the switch is up and bow & stern lights are 'on' but is looks like the positive from the battery only connects when the switch is in the middle. Thoughts? http://www.pedalboat.com/pdfman/sch_bt102.pdf |

It looks like power is going to the switch from wire #8 after it passes through the fuse n the right. Power is also jumpered on the back of the switch using wire #7. Then wire #5 should have 12V when the switch is set for Navigation Lights and wire #1 should have power for the Stern Light.
