June 14, 2008 LCB
Fishing today at Lake Casa Blanca. On the water by 710am. Went to an area were cement slabs were present. Fishing a crank, no luck; fished a spook, got a bite but other than that, no luck; we headed up the lake at aroun 845am. No luck until 10am. Went back to the cement slabs, fishing a crankbait, and pulled three LM bass. (12in,13in,10in) small but fun. My bud caught one bass, about 10in.
All in all, it was a good day...being that LCB is a difficult lake to fish and find quality(or any) LM bass. I dont know the patterns of these fish!! I tried finding cover, but no luck. I tried fishing rocks early in the mornin' but none; weeds in the mornin' but nothing! It's wierd how the fish are deep during the mornin'; when I drive around in the boat, fish show up in the most random places (deep, and not shallow near grass beds and cattails!) I gues it's because my fish finder does not describe the structure that is in the water! -stevo
