my ranger has one it is a manual by that i mean i have to push a button to make her pump but i didnt think you meant bailing water with a bucket.lol. one is all i need and the only time i have to use it is when ive been running down the lake with a full livewell or when it has rained. but i dont really see the need for a fully automatic pump.... but some body let me know if it has any advantages.

One should be plenty . I have heard of people that carry a spare with a length of hose and gator clips to go on the battery in case of emergency

My boat has one auto/manual bilge pump and two livewell pumps. If you ever leave the boat tied up to a dock then the auto bilge sounds like a good idea if it rains a lot overnight. |
