Tracker
What I need is a boat for fishing bayous and small lakes that can handle being bumped against cypress stumps now and then when the wind gets a bit hard. Not looking to go fast, just want something to get the job done and can take a lick in the process. Looking at this

well, if it were ME, i wludn't even THINK of a rivet boat. find yourself an ALUMINUM welded boat. MUCH stronger and safer down there in dem bayous. have a brother in law in mobile, and sorry i forgot what brand his is, but it is an aluminum weled 18' with a 4' with bottom. 35hp johnson.VERY reliable. heck... he even takes if out to the capped off oil rigs off dauphin island. and that is 25 miles off shore.
so in a nut shell, weled aircraft grade aluminum rig will outlast you buddy. |

solid rig, but if it was me i would check out the G3 boats. other good alum rigs are xpress and war eagle. thing with trackers is they are typically underpowered.

I got a G3 jet. The boat takes a beating from the rocks on the Delaware. Wish it had more storage but at least it isn't sitting at the boat shop for repairs. If you are going to bang into things, you definitely want a welded aluminum boat.
