July 2nd Report
Since the last couple trips have started out slow I decided to change that. Armed with light rods we downsized our baits to hopefully catch some fish. Well that worked very nicely as we caught several types of catfish. A mudcat (brown)and then Bullhead (yellow) and next was a 12lb Blue. Never found the school of crappie we where looking for or the white perch. Found a yellow perch. Bunch of small bass. Fished for snakeheads since the tide was up and got a nice LGMouth.
Missed two snakeheads also. Tide quickly turned at golden hour and we started fishing poppers and caught 4 more little bass. It was a very pleasant evening of catching and fishing. Capt Mike

I've been thinking of down sizing my presentation. What used to work for me always, now not so much. Need to change something.
