Son could use your prayers

Fellas, I've not shared any of this untill tonight. We've been living through a private hell for many months now. My youngest has been dealing with psycological issues for a few years now and has been under the care of a mental health care professional. He's also been experimenting with various illegal drugs trying to cope with what is a personal nightmare for himself in order to escape what he deals with every day. He once had a strong faith in the Lord but now his faith is gone. Things took an ugly turn this week, and we've taken steps to try to get all this under control. But it's been a long haul and he told me last night he feels like giving up. So I'm asking you tonight, if you would please say a prayer for my son Tim that God would step in and work a miricle in his life. I fear that unless things change, a year from now he might not be with us. Thankyou for your prayers fellas. I know I can count on you.

He's 20 years old Jrob. He's a good kid who is struggling with some serious issues. Thankyou for the prayers Jrob.

keith.........i am on my knees right now man. both of them. praying for oyur son tim. please let him know that we are here for him. oyu and the rest of the family too. this affects everyone, i know this from personal experience. let him know that he CAN win, he CAN beat this. lisa and i are here for anyone in oyur family that needs us pal.

Keith, there is little I could say that might help, and others have said a lot that should help. It is so difficult to keep one's faith when things of this nature come along. If I might make one suggestion, you and your family might take some comfort from re-reading the early verses of the 14th chapter of the New Testament book of John. Perhaps your son can find some solace in those words.

Keith, I wish I had some great words of wisdom at times like these, but I don't. So the best I can do is offer my prayers for Tim, and your family. My wifes family has been dealing with some simular issues so I've got a good idea what your dealing with.....Keep the faith brother.

Thankyou everyone for your kind words. I was called home yesterday from work to find 5 squad cars in front of my house and my son in custody. I don't have time to expain it all now as I am leaving soon to go to see a theripist who is working with Tim. He wasnt arrested but is now in a mental health facility for a few days for evaluation. Yesterday was a terrible day, but I know with all the prayers we will get through this. Thankyou for all your support. God Bless
