middle of the day fishing
During the middle of the day do bass feed? What should I do different during the day fishing then in the morning or in the afternoon when it is cooler out.

Throw into shade. Bass are like people in that they like to be comfortable. When it is sunny look for the shaded spots.

another thing u can try to do is put on a weight with a worm or jig...or even THE FABULOUS SPINNERBAIT and let it work its way towards the bottom and drag it along the bottom...bass like to hang out down there cuz up top the water is HOT FROM THAT FLORIDA SUN

Here in the Houston area, I hate it. It's time to take a break and have some lunch and a soda/water/beer whatever floats your boat.
But agree with the others, shade and deeper is the way to go. When I do fish shallow weed beds, I fish em SLOW and use all the bells and whistles, ie. scents and rattles. |
