Default We got snow in South Alabama

I live about 80 miles north of Panama City FL. It's still snowing 3 hours after I took these pics. The most it's snowed here in over 30 years.

Kids are loving it.

Great pics, we have snow up to our knees for the last 2 weeks with temps in the 20ish area LOL. Glad you got to experience what we live with for 5 months living near the ohio valley and the great lakes

Thanks, Taken with my trusty Nikon D40X.
We were in Virginia on the week of Jan 30th and got some of that snow before heading home. Spent a day driving half way home in it. NOT fun.

While the north is a lot more prepared for it than we are it still a pain in the arse.

Still snowing here. Our long haired Chihuahua is not putting a foot out in it. It's not sticking to the highways or any man made ground coverings. But is stacking up on open ground.

Looks like you guys are having fun. Thats great that the kids are getting to play in the snow, and if you want you can have our share for the rest of the winter.

Click on the small thumbnail to see the larger image and sorry they aren't that great quality, these are from my cell phone:

Started out like this in Crestview, FL

then right across the AL border it actually stuck

then in Andalusia, plenty of snow all over

Wow! Man, that's crazy. North Fl has the snow too! It's only a matter of time before we get some.

btw, that's a beautifully piece or property you got there! Reminds me of spending the winter in norther Wisconsin with my uncle on his farm... good times.

Well........we didn't get the snow they were predicting for us this time. Could this be a sign that spring is just around the corner? Let's hope it is a turn for the better.
Great pictures by the way guys.

I believe the weather channel stated that 49 out of 50 states had snow on the ground at the same time....which was for a brief period on friday.....the only state without snow on the ground that day was Hawaii....and they said normally they would have snow on the peaks of a volcano, but not that day.

As for moving to Hawaii.....Something about living on the tops of volcanos in the middle of the ocean, just doesn't do it for me....lol

Seems like a dangerous place for girls to wear grass skirts.
Or maybe that could be a bonus....one little spark and skirt go poof!
