Default a swim bait fish

i have used small swimbaits before. but never an 8" bbz1 slow sinker.. man that is a big hunkin bait, i am chunking it on a 7'6'' xheavy jig rod. just playing around with it..the lake i was fishing has several large culverts. with flow coming into the lake. yep i know this lake has some toads in it.i eased up to afore mentioned culverts after a dude flogged it with a jig. chunked it in the culvert and as it cleared the culvert a toad knocked it out of the water and took a another shot at it..but no hook up.... i was suprised the fish was able to knock it about like a popper. the dam thing weighs like 4.5 oz..

but after several more atemps to perswade the toad to take another shot. inculding a jerkbait style retrive nothing..
as i come off a point a mile away i heaved the bait again and actually caught a fish on it..

ok so he aint massive 2-2.5 pounds but he DID grab the tail hook on that bait....
