Biggest town I live near is Shawano... about an hour away from Green Bay. I fish the Lower Red Lake, and the lower Red river.

I live in extreme Southern MN, less than an hour from the IA border. For the last 3+ years my wife and I have owned a cabin 4.5 hours northwest of here on Lake Belle Taine, so that is where I do 99% of my fishing. The other 1% is when I'm able to make it down to IA to fish with my dad.
Did you know? Minnesota has 11,482 lakes 10 acres or larger, of which 5,483 are fishing lakes. Excluding Lake Superior, the state has 3.8 million acres of fishing water. Minnesota's portion of Lake Superior is 1.4 million acres. |

Great state of Va. We fish Claytor lake mostly (dink filled) and Smith Mountian lake in the spring and fall (summer time is a zoo--4.5 million jet skiers, skiers and big boats-just kidding on the number but seems like it.) We go to a few other lakes but those are main 2.

I fish WISCONSIN. Currently I'm shore fishing, due to lifes surprises. I'm still pretty lucky due to one of the lakes I fish has a one fish, 18 inch size limit for large mouth and small mouth, three fish 18 inch walleye and expected to produce the next record musky ( Wis. record not national record) Good supply of pan fish including alot of crappie. Extremely clear. The lake is Lake Delavan. Next hot spots I currently use are a couple ponds each about 20 acres and 10 minutes from home, very clear, loaded with quality fish but heavily fished, Got a 24 inch walleye this spring weighing 5.2 lbs. and a 9 plus lb. large mouth. So I'm pretty fortunate! Good luck to all on thier favorite fishing hole!

I fish in Virginia Beach, which is an area with little lakes, but we have a few decent ponds, and marshy lakes. I currently fish in small ponds for bass, some lakes in Suffolk that are pretty big, a lake in Green brier, a place called Westneck, and eventually i am going to fish in lake smith.
