What a GREAT MAN!
I was 2 years old when he won his first National Championship.
I happened to have been educated through the Catholic Education System, my boy too.

That great man was talked about frequently when I enter sports in school.
I wish someone would write a book and tell of all the great men he coached and help them achieve great things. How many young men who now see things differently because of this great man.
His beliefs and strategies for becoming a good healthy young man are something flat out amazing in my eyes!

And yes he was a great dedicated coach who followed his beliefs his whole life coaching.
He did it his way!

Joe, I was lucky enough to see him win his last national title in 2003. (seen him lose in 2000) His teams were well coached. A class act.

Definately hard shoes to fill. Stepping in to take his place would be more than intimidating. Just knowing all eyes are on you now to compare.
