Depps buzzjet
Since i have purchased a couple Buzz Jets I was wondering if anyone on here fishes them? If you do what's your favorite presentation. When would be the best time to throw them seasonally?

The large one scares most bass,jr however works when a buzzbait or wake bait will. The most overlooked retrieve is like any topwater prop bait slash and twitch.
When is prime time for a smithwick rogue, about 3 weeks after spawn when things start eating fry, twitch not to say either wont work year around with different retrieves Last edited by lilmule; 01-31-14 at 09:56 AM. |

The large one would be great for toothie critters, have never paid that much for one either and have deps.A viable alternative is this a guy on ebay custom paints these lookalikes for under ten inc shipping,he had a clearance sale and I got it for 4.88 at xmas.
About same size as the small deps |

I had one of the bigger ones for awhile, wasn't a fan. Not that it was too big, I've got much larger baits that I'd rather fish. I didn't like how much work it was to keep on the surface when trying to fish it like a wake bait, which is what I bought it to do. I prefer an MS Slammer for a big wake bait.
