I usually just tie 50# power pro, wrap 30 feet of line and tie a jig on. That way I keep fishing while Im relieving. For the other, I troll over to somebody else's boat and go off the side, that way it doesn't mess up my fishing area. TP is a must on the boat, just be careful there's no floating logs nearby while you are dropping logs. Gators have a fascination with bright white objects.
