Default Trip to the Zoo (pics)

On Sunday, my sister, her friend, and her friend's almost 1 year old baby went to the Toledo Zoo. I tagged along for the picture opportunities.

Here's some of my favorites from the day.

Thanks for looking!

Very nice photos Anthony. People underestimate the photo opps that can be had visiting the zoo. Great photos can be taken that still can have that "caught in the wild" look. Especially on Nikon equipment.

There, I fixed it for you. You're welcome.

Seriously though, Thanks. Some great pics can be had at the zoo. you just have to work around fingerprint covered class, fences, and all the people.

I bet if he was lipping a 10" bass you'd know immediately who it was...

Those are great pics! Were you using a tripod? They are really clear with 250mm focal length on the crocodile and eagle.

Thanks Chris. All these shots (and the vast majority of all my shots) are done hand holding the camera. The main reason is my tripod is old and really heavy and just a PITA to carry around.
