I was 19, no car, broke as a joke, and I got stuck across town in -30 degree weather. All because I went to a concert with a hottie. A friend offered to give us a ride, but there was no room up in the cab of the truck. So it was either a 2 hour walk in -30 or a 15 minute ride in -80 windchill. I picked the latter. I'm pretty sure I made the right decision. Huddling together for warmth with a hot chick is never a bad thing.
