Nice trout and one for bama!
Did some trout and smallmouth fishin this weekend on a medium clear water river. The trout went about 5 lb and 23" not a steelhead, and I caught alot of smallmouth and trout on a black roostertail .

BassinID, please keep posting the pics. Even though this is a bass board, I am fascinated by the fishing in your area of the country - you have much luck by way of location.
Ever get any cutthroats up there?

Come on out, I will put you on some big salmonoids. I know lots of places for big trout, but lots of them take some work to get to.

Man steelhead are so much fun. My PB was just under 10lbs. Can't beat that on a flyrod w/ 4-6lb tippet.

Yep, If you have ever heard of the grande rounde thats where I catch mine on a fly, the rest come from the clearwater or a few on the salmon. Check the grande rounde out on youtube, its one of the only places where steelhead regularly rise to surface flys.
