Kind of an older entry level thats been phased out, like the wide 100,runs a single beam at
200 kHz,in a direct down attitude. Basicly about the best there was 10 years ago,as an entry level fish finder. Still will function in that capacity,no frills, providing one has the cables and ducers, other wise not a bargain as the ducer is 60 dollars. And that is about what one is worth with the ducer in good shape,or even as new in a pkg as no support or warranty. People bid on them trying to get real cheap sometimes it works, ive bought bottom line units for ten bucks, without cables ducers as had them on hand or 22 with all of it.Sometimes however they the bidders get sort of caught up in I gotta have this, then let it go,as others will replace it,to bid on. They work fine at the console if all you want is down while running,or troller, and your not out much if you let it go with the boat instead of giving away your 989c2i. |
