chatterbait bite
well i fished my chatterbait knockoff today in blue back shad the lakes been drown down about 5 feet so they weedy bank will die off its like a sea of lilly pads out there anyway back to the chatterbait man does it dance im surely gonna leave it on my rod had a few mudfish follow me in but thats it later on i was fishin about 2 1/2 feet (im wading) i started buzzing it threw a kissimmee grass cut when i see a boil and a yellow flash set the hook missed it pitched it back out about 3 feet and started working it again and i see a pickeral just inhale the "jiggerbait" all the way needless to say i caught him frayed the hell out of my line (ALWAYS CHECK YOUR LINE) retied but didnt get one bite the lake really sucks right now with this super shallow water
Tight lines

when the water level is dropping the fish tend to move towards deep structure, try wading out a little further if you get to go back out during the draw down. when they start bringing the water level back up fish the newly flooded areas along the shoreline.

pnj i got the chatterbait down (tho i use a knockoff jiggerbait) i was fishing a lake with a friend night fishing caught one topwater while scimming the surface and another one right at the boat started throwing a buzzbait and caught 2 more but then went back to the chatter and caught 3 more bass i can just feel them "flop" on the bait my friend was even throwing a real chatterbait but wasnt getting any hits on it and just yesterday i was fishing a really really old looking boat marina (the ports for the boats were growing weeds thru the wood) i had pitched a trick worm weightless didnt catch nothin texas rigged a sweat beaver and nothing then i throw my chatterbait to the exact same spot and started working it just below the surface when i see a wake just nail the lure a really dark healthy bass about 2 lbs
