Double Report March 16th
Capt Mike:
Today I had a slow start with a cold wind down the backs off our necks. Took awhile to get that first fish but after that every time that cruise ship went by we got doubles and more. Many too big for the hot oil bath and few of those whisker less striped catfish too. Great crew and that guy with the same name as me is going to be one heck of a fisherman someday. Jacob Jingle Himmler Schmidt was his name I think. Capt Dave: Today I had my family on board for the sink and swim test of the boat. It did very well and after bumming bait off Capt Mike we set up just south of him. Several nice cats in the short time out where landed. A respectable whisker less striped catfish was also caught. The new Dragonfly gps/chirp sonar detailed the bottom nicely. It will take a bit to get all the settings down but this tool will be vital to locating monster blue cats. Capt Mike and Capt Dave
