Crazy Christmas....so far
I don't really play the lottery often but I started a habbit years ago.
On a holiday like Christmas for example. When I stop to get gas or whatever, I buy the attendant a lottery ticket of thier choosing. So I get up and go to Church this morning. 7:00 am Service as usual. I get to Church and the lot is empty. They have special times for Christmas I guess? I got to start paying more attention! So now I'm disappointed and head back home. On the way I stop to get gas. I'm paying and there are two attendants working. Tell the young lady to pick a $5 dollar scratch-off ticket and we will split 3 ways. She thinks it over and makes a choice. BINGO, $100 winner. So I give them both $30 and I keep $40. Come on...I don't know these people. So I go home and figure out another church/service to go too. I decide to go to the richman's Mass seeing thier Church is only two blocks from my house. I usually drive to the other end of town, in the HOOD, to go to Services. Believe it or not.....I'm two minutes late. I don't do the come in late, go home early stuff. I know, I know, crazy. But that's just me. All about RESPECT. So now the Christmas cheer is slowly slipping away. So now I'm figuring out my next move and remember....I need some cinnamin for French Toast and Christmas Breakfast. So I stop at a convience store close to home to get the cinnamin. Lady's husband is sitting behind the counter just spending Christmas with his lovely wife. So as usual I offer the ticket deal and seeing hubby was there spending Christmas with his wife (which incidentally I find really kind of neat), I tell them both to pick a $5 scratch-off, remembering that I stole $10 from the last gas stations winnings. Bingo... $20 dollar winner for HER and BAM, the husband who chose a different scratch-off from a different slot, $20 WINNER! My cheer was back!!!!!!!!! Oh and seeing I do Mid-Night Mass and Jesus seems to want me to stay away today, HE and I are going to enjoy a nice quiet French Toast Breakfast at HOME together. I hope everyone's special day is SPECIAL!
