Lake Cumberland, KY
I'm headed to Lake Cumberland later this month. We will more than likely be fishing for Stripers. I'm actually going on business but they are taking me out fishing on Thurs. the 29th. Hope the lake isn't froze over when I get there!!! Anybody fish that lake in late January? I'm curious what to expect.

Addict,
Cumberland won't be froze over. If it freezes over we've got an Ice Age. Anyway you should get your company to book a guide and go do some float and fly for small mouths. I live about 1.5 hours from Cumberland and fish it about 3 times a year. Strippers are fun too. Make sure to get a guide with a boat with a cabin. That makes it a whole lot more fun when your warm. Anyway welcome to the Bluegrass when you come. Fishers of Men actually held thier National Championship there last year. Good Walleye, Stripper, and Small Mouth. Where you all staying at? |

Ohh yeah don't worry about the water level. Cumberland still has plenty of drink left.
