The Beach
I thought I'd post a few pics of where my wife and I go every weekend. This small beach area is just off of Hwy 1 in Sonoma county north of Bodega Bay.

I'll bet the sunrises are beautful as well. Oh yeah, they replaced the glass right after the car finished burning. I guess some one had to make a phone call. LOL

Hey Jerry nice pics...Is that around Goat Rock? I have a couple of beaches that we go to...Ill have to tell you where there are youll like them.
Anyways BassinTom want a little movie(The Birds) trivia...The film of the birds was filmed in the TOWN of Bodega(near me and Jerry) The ocean is called Bodega Bay(also where Basic Instinct was filmed) In the movie it shows the town right next to the ocean when in actuality they are like 10 miles away from each other. They transposed the film to make it look just like theyy are next to each other....The Church you see still exists but its on a hill I always look at it when we pass by and hope we never see seagulls.....lol |

Looks chilly bassguy, what's the normal weather there throughout the year? Do you get snow, or is it to close to the ocean?

Liz, I live 45 min east (on country roads) from where we took the pictures. The higher elevations around us very seldom gets snow. Only on rare occasions do we see the white stuff. I guess average temps in spring and summer possibly 65 to 90 degrees and occasional triple digits. Fall is sometimes the hottest with Indian summer and when winter takes over it sometimes drops into the 30's. Oh, I can't forget the liquid sunshine we have here also.
