Back from a short hiatus!
I know y'all probably didn't miss me, haha. But just wanted to say hi and know what I missed the last month!
I was busy the last semester of school (January through end of April) but was also searching around and posted a little bit. But never really did too much fishing. I spent my spring break in East Texas just like last year and we killed them. I won't bore you with the details but it was my dad, brother, and me all week and two of my dad's buddies fished with us for a few days. We did ok. Only broke 100 twice. Only had 4 days of 20+ pound sacks (HAHA, sounds rough, right?). Robert (my brother) lost one that was 8 and one that was 10+ during the week. No huge ones. Robert had a 7, rest of us least has a 6. Tons of 4s and 5s. Great trip but haven't been fishing since. I took 21 hours the past semester and it killed me, but finished my freshmen year up solidly! And the reason I missed the last month was for a study abroad in the Balkans. Went with 14 other students and a professor. We visited Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Montenegro. It was a great experience, we studied post-conflict and dissolution of Yugoslavia (and the ethnic differences). It was a great trip. If you want to see some great scenery I would highly encourage going if you could. We had internet at some places but it was used mostly for family communication. Glad to be back and hopefully will be back on the lake very very soon. I'm missing it.

Welcome back Aiken! Sounds like a wonderful trip. My daughter did a study in the Czech Republic and then backpacked through Europe for 3 weeks. Didn't do my nerves much good but she loved it. Glad you had a great learning experience and hope you get out fishing soon.
