There are a couple types of blades out there with none, 2, 3, and 4 holes. If the science is correct the ones with the more holes should have less lift and run deeper than the ones with no holes. As long as they all have the same general shape and surface area. Some guys modify their blades by bending back the top part of the blade too.
Cavs - The first people to see the trailers all said the same thing....."Are those striper baits?" and then " Those would look good as a swim bait on one of those jig head rigs with the willow blade thing." So yes they can be used that way and I may test them out this weekend to see how they work in this manner. |
