Small ponds
I haven't put in a new thread in forever.!!!!!!!!...... But yall know how it is.
ive been fishin once on my lakein the last week and cought a 2 and 1 half pounder on a 7" greenwatermelon trick worm weightless. Me and skeeter have been fishin the north end of our small pond but recently moved to the south end and cought more fish. i don't know much about where to fish because of my lack of tournament knowledge but if yall have any tips on fishin small ponds let me know. |

All I do is fish local ponds and streams for smallies and use same lures you use anywhere. My standby's at all times:
-tubes, 4" -6" worms -4" senko's -4" wooly hawg tail -1/4 - 3/8 spinnerbaits -rat l trap, a top water and a buzzer rounds it out pretty much. Work the water near and far and find what they like... Ponds are great to fish, some big ones always in them.. |

i caught 4 today at the same pond bassmasters is talking about. there are alot of scumy weeds on the bottom with some mats down in a cove.i caught 2 3lbers and 2 1lbers there this morning. i have been fishing weightless trick worms in pumpkinseed and watermelonseed. the weightless rig picks up less weeds and it catches qaulity fish, also. i have gotten alot of confidence in this rig.
