First bass of 2012
Howdy guys been awhile been wrapped up with hunting all winter went out last Thursday on Prettyboy the bite was slow but I did land a nice 4lber for my first fish of 2012 hopefully its a sign of things to come! Also had a club tourney Sunday the bite was painfully slow I didn't get a single hit after 930. Although I ended up in 4 th place the 2 fish for 5.5 lbs so that tells how slow it really was.
Other then that I have given up the rivers and gone to the.local reservoirs, I took the gas motor off the tracker and before may I plan to buy a torqeedo cruise 4.0 which is.a 48v electric motor. No more long morning gas guzzeling drives to the pmac for me wake up and drive 6-20 miles and I am at the ramp !

Nice fish. I went out today and couldn't buy a bite. Water temp was 54.5 degrees and water was pretty clear.

That's a great way to start the year. I had my first of the year on the same day as yours, but it was about 25% smaller, still a nice bass.
