First Bass on a Jig!
Managed to pull this solid 2.5 lb bass from the laydown attached using a 3/8 oz jig with a chigger craw trailer. After my 10th pitch or so into an opening I saw my line move off, set the hook, and BAM, I pulled up my first jig bass.

Way to go! I know the feeling. I caught my first bass on a jig late last season and did great on it ever since. Keep it up!

Congrats on your first jig bass. The bad thing is your going to want to buy a bunch of jigs now. haha But thats good becasue jigs are great baits and your going to loose plenty over the years. But they are worth it!Sounded like you had a classic jig bite.

Congrats on the nice fish, jig fishing is addictive and is always a good choice for big fish.

Well done!
Took me probably 15-20 years of throwing a jig before I finally got bit on a jig, and now they are a go-to bait for me. Tav, the baits should be on the way this week-been kind of crazy here and I'm finally getting caught up!
