Believe it or not, I caught a new PB bass for this particular lake, which I do almost all of my fishing on, the evening of my birthday -- 4lb 7oz, 19.5" length, 13.5" girth -- 2oz more than my previous PB from about two weeks ago that I also posted about). Tomorrow I'm headed down to Iowa to fish with my dad for a couple of days on the same lake where I caught my all-time PB 4lb 12oz LM earlier this year. Not wanting to disappoint you, Bama, here are some pics from this past weekend. 3lb 1oz, 17.5" SM - using a Rebel Mag Pop-R - man oh man, what a fighter and a jumper -- smallies are an absolute blast to catch! 2lb 9oz LM (7" Yamasenko) & 1lb 15oz LM (Spro Poppin' Frog) 1lb 8oz, 12" crappie - using a Rebel Mag Pop-R from our dock - it hit and fought like a bass! 2lb 4oz LM (7" Yamasenko) - first bass of the day on my birthday 4lb 7oz LM and 2lb 6oz LM (both on 7" Yamasenko) 1lb 8oz Crappie and 1lb 10oz Rock Bass my wife caught from our dock My dog, Lucky, and me in our boat and him back at the dock afterwards |
