It depends on a lot of factors. Here is how I choose a color:
Clear water-natural colors-watermelon, watermelon red, green pumpkin. Stained water-add some bright, like chartreuse. Muddy-depends on the sun. If it is sunny bright colors, but if it is cloudy natural colors. Size-I try to match the hatch. If is see shad 3" long, I'll use a 3" tube. Weight-same as a T-rig. Depends on how deep-the shallower the water, the lighter the weight.

Go with your greens and browns. One good color is a black with red flake for stained water. There is something about a tube that brings the fish in on certain days due to the erratic fall. Don't peg your weight when t rigging because it kills the action

There are endless brands of tubes and rigging combinations.I use a Mizmo Big boy and a Shuberts bite rite tube brand. I use a Eagle claw HP hook in 3/0 size and usually a 1/16 oz. tungstun weight free sliding on the line, or I use a Venom tube jighead in 1/8 oz. or 1/4 oz. weight.I usually fish 12-14 lb fluorocarbon line for tubes. I hope this helps.P N J
